Located in Cipatat, West Java, PT LMB Plantation is only 12 kilometers away from our factory complex and located next to PT Perhutani (a state forest enterprise). In this plantation, which we acquired in 2014, is where we responsibly nurture and grow Anthocephalus Cadamba (known as SuperK). In 2019, our plantation has passed Forest Management and Chain of Custody audits and is qualify to hold FSC^® certification.

In first stage of the plantation’s process, Anthocephalus Cadamba seedlings are nurtured in the greenhouse. When matured, they are relocated to the open plantation area. The open forest’s acres are divided by the age of the plants and their respective growing processes.

We rigorously practice sustainable production principles in our forestry, even to our neighboring stakeholders. We routinely train farmers who live in the surrounding areas and know the land features well, to ensure their practice of responsible and modern farming techniques are in line with the latest government regulations.

As the threat of global warming looms ever, we are constantly challenging our own practices to become part of the solution and not the problem. We plant more than we cut down, we make useful products such as fuel or fertilizer from our waste, and we strive to remove waste altogether. In the decades to come, we will continue to innovate to reduce our carbon footprint.
